I got into Up With People because:
of a friend whose mother took me to a show when I was a sophmore in high school. Then my family
hosted a couple of times and I was hooked.
I joined Up With People because:
I wanted to make a difference and perform in the show.
Favorite memory from staging:
My favorite was when the staff came in with all the candles and the "Winds of Change" was playing and we celebrated being Cast C.
I also liked the fork dance with the ice cream.
Favorite city during our tour and why:
My favorite city was Duderstadt, Germany. I was on PR there and I had the best host family ever. My little host sister was
clinging to me when I left and my host mom cried. She and I really bonded - it was like we were sisters. I was really excited
to see the cast because it was so close to the end of the year when everyone came. And it was the city where they did the
improvisation skits. It was a terrific city and a wonderful experience for me.
Since Up With People I am:
single once again.
What you are doing now:
I am currently working for an IT company as a marketing manager and business/process analyst/technical writer. I finished my Masters degree in technical writing and have put my degree to very good use.
