I got into Up With People through hosting.
I joined Up With People because:
Ever since my family hosted when I was about 10 years old, I knew that I wanted to travel in UWP! I was a student first in 88D, but couldn't get enough, so came back on PR staff in 1993.
Favorite memory from staging:
I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with C93 in staging and the first few weeks on the road, before I had to leave for PR.
Favorite city during our tour and why:
Melbourne, FL. Great PR team!!!
Since Up With People I am:
married to Leo Carrillo. Our first child, no name yet, will be born September 21, 2002!
Greatest accomplishment since UWP:
Finishing my Masters degree in Philanthropy and Development.
Occupation:
Funeral Director!!! (can you imagine?)
What you are doing now:
Living in Tucson, Arizona . . . happily married and expecting our first baby . . . working as Director of Development for Arizona's Children Association.
