That's right! Straight from our New York City source, TJ Mannix, our own, extremely talented Eric Dysart is performing in what is becoming Broadway's newest hit, Hairspray. Eric had been performing with the cast in Seattle. Hairspray received so much recognition that is being done on Broadway. Mr. Mannix states, "There hasn't been this much excitement about a new show since 'The Producers.' ...It is pretty much impossible to get a ticket - and it hasn't even officially opened yet. It is still in previews."
Want to know how hard tickets are to come by? Mr. Mannix now says that New Yorkers are selling their kidneys to get a ticket!
The show opens officially in the Neil Simon theatre on August 15, but (as noted above) tickets are already presold and practically impossible to come by. If you want to go see your favorite Broadway performer, plan ahead! Congratulations to Eric! I know I'm proud of him and I'll bet you are too!
