I got into Up With People through watching the show.
I joined Up With People because:
I saw the show as a teenager -- and immediately I KNEW: this was what I'd do after finishing school.
Favorite memory from staging:
My wonderful host mom Sherill Jones, and of course the very first show.
Favorite city during our tour and why:
Ft.Lauderdale. Because I got to go there on PR -- an incredible learning experience... which also got us to a free weekend at Walkers Key at Bahamas -- an even better place!
I got a very nice host family in Ft.Lauderdale, where I also spent Christmas during our UWP year. I went back to this family for a spring vacation. I'd love to go back to Ft.Lauderdale -- it's a nice....and much warmer place than Norway!!!
Since Up With People I am:
unhappily single.
Greatest accomplishment since UWP:
Others would probably say finishing Physical therapy school and getting this job as a leader for 50 fitness instructors. I myself think I would have to say starting in therapy trying to get out of many years of eating disorders and a major depression is an even bigger accomplishment.
What you are doing now:
I'm working full time, and more, in two fitness centres -- both called ELIXIA. I am responsible for all the 50 aerobic and spinning instructors -- who are keeping me very, very busy. I also work on educating other instructors, since I am a physical therapist.
Other Information You Want to Share:
I'd like to be brave enough to follow my dream -- which is to study to become a psychologist.
